Jason Deparis is an award winning producer/director/ vfx post guru who has created and developed content for the History Channel, Discovery, SyFy, TNT, ABC, MSNBC, STARZÂ to name a few. His work spans the wide range of genres from documentary, comedy, drama, action, fantasy to science fiction.
Most notably he produced, directed and developed a TV documentary on human trafficking for MSNBC that was able to save two trafficked victims, and created awareness that aided in shutting down several facilities in Houston that enslaved young women.
Truly a jack of all trades, Deparis’ talents are not limited to producing and developing television. He also has extensive visual effects experience on some big budget tent pole projects such as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows(1&2) and The Smurfs. Deparis has had high level experience writing and directing commercials; he wrote commercials for video game franchises such as Warhammer 40k and the Skylanders series. Whatever the medium, one thing is for sure: telling stories is definitely in his blood.
